Our coaches are :

- Emergency 1st aid trained

- LFA and FAZ qualified

- Child safeguarding trained

Our coaching staff is made up of FAZ qualified player developers with a wealth of experience coaching at various levels of the football development pyramid. Each day, it’s their mission to support our players and push them to the next level. The coaching staff help our players reach their potential, both physically and psychologically. The coaches are supported by an experienced technical department comprising of UEFA trained player developers.

COACHING BIO'S

Coach Bornwell Lungu

Lead Football Coach

Coach Bornwell has been coaching for 22 years. He started his career at Busa academy in the super amateur for 5 years then coached Lusaka youth soccer academy and Chiparamba youth soccer academy after. In 2008, he took over as head coach of Bauleni Super Eagles, helping them gain promotion from division 3 to division 2. One of the highlights of his career is winning the bronze medal at the Gothia cup in Sweden with a U17 team representing Zambia. He is currently the head coach at Green Impalas and holds the FAZ coaching licence.

Coach Owen Mwanza

Football Coach

Owen is a highly regarded up-and-coming young coach. He is approaching his 3rd season as an assistant coach for Green Impalas football club. Owen is respected for his professionalism and tactical understanding. He has gained valuable experience coaching the Green Impalas senior team in the Super Amateur division and the highly ranked U19s team competing in the FAZ developmental league. Owen holds a coaching certificate from the Lusaka Football Association and a FAZ coaching licence.

Coach Joseph Lungu

Assistant Coach

Coach Joseph is a new addition to the coaching team after recently retiring from his playing a career . Coach Joseph joins us with a wealth of knowledge playing competitive soccer.
